Gender-neutral swing-dancing

Eleanor dancing with Susan Howells at Swing Fastival 2014Pink Swing is an inclusive safe space for people of any gender or sexuality to dance. All are welcome: straight, gay, lesbian, bisexual, pansexual, questioning, cisgender, transgender, non-binary, intersex, etc.

We are not limited by traditional gender roles: everyone is encouraged to both lead and follow, so expect to dance with anyone and everyone regardless of gender.

A safe space for all

We do not tolerate racism, sexism, ageism, homophobia, transphobia or any other kind of bigotry, discrimination, hate, or abuse.

Think you can’t dance?

Don’t let two left feet stop you: most of us felt like that before we tried it. Swing dancing feels so great, it probably won’t be long before you are hooked too! It’s great exercise, keeps you fit, and is much more fun than the gym!

We will teach you

We teach Balboa and Lindy Hop, partner dances from the Swing era of the 1920s to 40s. After class, we play vintage swing music for social dancing so you can enjoy your new skills right away.

For a fun evening with great music, come dance with us!
